Apex Legends clip maker
On this page
ClipFlame turns Apex Legends gameplay into Shorts, Reels and TikToks. Upload a recording or paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link, choose Gaming, and it finds the moments worth posting: the squad wipe, the third party you survived, the movement play, the final ring. Each clip comes out 9:16 with your facecam on top and word-by-word captions.
Apex fights are fast and messy, and a good one is over in under a minute. Streams are hours long. ClipFlame finds the fights that ended well, or badly enough to be funny, across the whole session.
What it clips in Apex Legends
- Squad wipes: a full squad down, or a 1v3 after your team falls.
- Third parties: surviving a fight that two other squads joined.
- Movement: slides, wall bounces, superglides and escapes.
- Big shots: Kraber headshots, Wingman flicks, Peacekeeper one-pumps.
- Final ring: the last fight and the win, or the loss in the ring.
- Badges: the 20-kill or 4,000-damage game, and the reaction.
Gunfire and shouting show up as loudness spikes, and the AI looks at frames around each spike.
How to clip Apex Legends
- Record or stream. On PC, use OBS, NVIDIA's Instant Replay, AMD ReLive or Medal. On console, use the console capture, or stream and use the VOD.
- Upload or paste the link into ClipFlame and choose Gaming.
- Review the clips, sorted by virality score. Fix legend and player names in the captions, then download or schedule them.
Layout for Apex clips
Your facecam goes on top and the middle of the screen below, where your crosshair is. The minimap (top left) and squad bars (bottom left) fall outside the crop. No facecam? The middle of the gameplay fills the width.
Common questions
Does it work for ranked and pubs?
Yes. It doesn't depend on the mode. It picks moments from sound, chat, the screen and what's said.
How many clips do I get from a session?
Up to 20 per video, sorted by virality score. A stream uses as many minutes as it is long: Starter gives 4 hours a month, Pro gives 20 hours and takes long streams in one upload.
Is ClipFlame made by Respawn or EA?
No. ClipFlame is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Respawn Entertainment or Electronic Arts. Apex Legends is a trademark of Electronic Arts Inc.
