Twitch clip maker

ClipFlame turns a Twitch VOD into vertical clips for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Paste the twitch.tv/videos link and it finds the best moments of the stream from what you say, how loud it got, what chat did and the clips your viewers already made. Every clip comes captioned, with your facecam on top and a virality score.
Twitch's own clip button only saves a moment someone already noticed, in 16:9. To find every clip-worthy moment in a 5-hour stream you'd have to rewatch it. ClipFlame reads the whole VOD and does that part for you.
How to clip a Twitch stream
- Copy the VOD link. On your channel, open Videos, then the past broadcast, and copy the address (twitch.tv/videos/…).
- Paste it into ClipFlame and choose the type of video: Gaming, Reaction, or Talking for just-chatting and IRL streams.
- Add the chat log (optional). Export it with TwitchDownloader as JSON and add the file.
- Review the clips. Up to 20 per video, sorted by virality score. Fix usernames and emote names in the captions, then download or schedule them.
How it finds the moments
- Your viewers' clips. For a Twitch link, ClipFlame reads the clips viewers made of that VOD. A moment three people clipped is a strong pick.
- Chat bursts. With the chat log added, spikes in messages and emotes like KEKW, OMEGALUL, Pog and "clip it" mark what chat reacted to. ClipFlame allows for stream delay, so the clip lands on the moment and not on the reaction 8 seconds later.
- Loudness. Screams, laughter and explosions stand out from your normal talking level.
- The screen. For Gaming and Reaction streams, the AI looks at frames around the strongest moments, so a moment with no words still gets picked.
Long streams
On Pro, a long stream works as one upload. A stream uses as many minutes as it is long, so a 6-hour stream on Pro uses 6 of your 20 hours for the month.

Common questions
Can I clip someone else's Twitch stream?
ClipFlame downloads any public VOD, but post clips of another streamer's content only with their permission. Many streamers hire clippers and share their VODs for this.
Do subscriber-only VODs work?
No. ClipFlame can only download public VODs. Make the past broadcast public, or download it and upload the file.
How long do I have before the VOD is gone?
Twitch deletes past broadcasts after a set time, as short as 7 days on many accounts. Clip it soon after the stream, or turn on Store past broadcasts and export highlights you want to keep.
Can ClipFlame post the clips to TikTok for me?
Yes. The scheduler posts each clip to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook at the time you pick.
Is ClipFlame made by Twitch?
No. ClipFlame is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch. Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc.
