CS2 clip maker
ClipFlame turns Counter-Strike 2 gameplay into Shorts, Reels and TikToks. Upload a recording or paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link, choose Gaming, and it finds the rounds worth posting: the ace, the 1v3 clutch, the AWP flick, the eco round you weren't meant to win. Each clip comes out 9:16 with your facecam on top and word-by-word captions.
A CS2 match can run 24 rounds or more, and a FACEIT or Premier session can be several matches. The rounds worth posting are a few seconds each. ClipFlame finds them across the whole session.
What it clips in CS2
- Multikills: aces, 4Ks and the spray transfers that make them.
- Clutches: 1vX rounds, with your callouts and your team watching.
- AWP and one-taps: flicks, no-scopes and Deagle one-taps.
- Eco and force-buy wins: rounds won against the odds.
- Utility: a smoke or molly that wins the round, or a flash that blinds your own team.
- Comms and fails: team-kills, whiffs and the arguments after.
Gunfire bursts and shouting show up as loudness spikes, and the AI looks at frames around each spike.
How to clip CS2
- Record, stream, or use a demo. Record with OBS, NVIDIA's Instant Replay, AMD ReLive or Medal. CS2 also saves match demos: open one in the game's demo viewer, play the rounds you want and record them.
- Upload or paste the link into ClipFlame and choose Gaming.
- Review the clips, sorted by virality score. Fix player names and callouts in the captions, then download or schedule them.
Layout for CS2 clips
Your facecam goes on top and the middle of the screen below, where your crosshair is. The radar (top left) and kill feed (top right) fall outside the crop. No facecam? The middle of the gameplay fills the width.
Common questions
Can I clip a CS2 demo with no commentary?
Yes. With Gaming chosen, ClipFlame picks moments from sound and the screen too, so a recorded demo with no voice still gets clips.
Does it work for pro match VODs?
It clips any recording you upload. Post clips of tournament broadcasts only if the broadcaster's rules allow it.
Is ClipFlame made by Valve?
No. ClipFlame is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Valve. Counter-Strike is a trademark of Valve Corporation.
