AI gaming clip maker
On this page
ClipFlame is an AI gaming clip maker. Upload a gameplay recording or paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link, choose Gaming, and it finds the moments worth posting: the clutch, the fail, the chase, the line that made chat explode. Each moment comes out as a captioned vertical clip with your facecam on top of the gameplay and a virality score from 0 to 100.
Most AI clip tools read the transcript and nothing else. That works for a podcast, where the best moment is something someone said. In a game, the best moment is often a sound or something on screen, and the transcript at that second may only say "oh no".
What it looks at
- Sound. Screams, laughter, gunfire and explosions show up as spikes in loudness above your normal talking level.
- Chat. Add the chat log and bursts of messages and emotes like KEKW, Pog or "clip it" mark the moments viewers reacted to.
- Clips your viewers made. For a Twitch VOD link, clips viewers already cut from that stream count as votes.
- The screen. The AI looks at frames from around the strongest moments and across the rest of the stream, so a death, a crash or a narrow escape gets picked even when nobody talks.
- What you say. Commentary, callouts and conversations with your squad still count, so a funny exchange gets picked too.
Each clip starts a few seconds before the payoff, so viewers see the setup, and ends on the reaction.
How to make gaming clips
- Add the video. Upload a recording, or paste a Twitch VOD, Kick VOD, Google Drive or Dropbox link.
- Choose Gaming as the type of video. Add the chat log if you have one.
- Review the clips. They come sorted by virality score, best first, up to 20 per video. Fix player names and slang in the captions, then download or schedule.
Facecam on top, gameplay below
ClipFlame finds your webcam overlay in each clip and stacks it above the gameplay, the layout most gaming Shorts use. Square and round cams get a taller panel. With no facecam, the middle of the gameplay fills the width. If it picks the wrong spot, drag the box in the editor.

Common questions
Does it clip gameplay with no commentary?
Yes. With Gaming chosen, ClipFlame picks moments from the sound and the screen as well as speech, so a quiet run still gets clips. Commentary helps it pick the moments with a story.
Can I upload a recording instead of a stream link?
Yes. Upload a file from OBS, NVIDIA, AMD, Medal or a console capture.
Does it work with YouTube links?
No. YouTube's API rules don't allow downloading its videos, so upload the file instead. Twitch and Kick VOD links work.
Which clip is the best one?
Every clip gets a virality score from 0 to 100 and clips come sorted best first. Clips scoring 80 or more are highlighted.
