ClipFlame turns long Minecraft videos into Shorts, Reels and TikToks. Upload a stream, an SMP session or a hardcore episode, choose Gaming, and it finds the moments worth posting: the creeper behind you, the fall into lava, the diamond find, the argument on the server. Each clip comes out 9:16, captioned word by word, with your facecam on top.
Minecraft videos are long and slow by design: hours of mining and building, with a few minutes where everything goes wrong. Those minutes are the clips. Commentary matters more in Minecraft than in most games, and ClipFlame reads what you say as well as what happens on screen.
What it clips in Minecraft
- Deaths: hardcore deaths, falls, lava, drowning, a creeper at the worst time.
- Big finds: diamonds, ancient debris, a stronghold, a rare mob or seed feature.
- Boss fights: the Ender Dragon, the Wither, the Warden.
- Manhunts and PvP: chases, clutch water drops, last-heart escapes.
- SMP moments: pranks, betrayals, trades and drama between players.
- Series milestones: the end of a day in a "100 days" series, a base reveal, a challenge failed.
Long quiet building stretches get skipped. Screams, laughter and sudden noise show up as loudness spikes, and the AI looks at frames around them to see what happened.
How to clip Minecraft
- Record or stream. On Java, record with OBS; Replay Mod lets you record a session and render it later. On Bedrock and consoles, use the console capture or stream it.
- Upload or paste the link (Twitch and Kick VODs work) and choose Gaming. On Pro, a full session works as one upload.
- Review the clips, sorted by virality score. Fix player and mob names in the captions, then download or schedule them.
Layout for Minecraft clips
Your facecam goes on top and the middle of the screen below. Minecraft's hotbar and health sit at the bottom center, so they stay in the clip. No facecam? The middle of the gameplay fills the width.
Common questions
Can I post Minecraft clips on YouTube and TikTok?
Mojang's usage guidelines allow videos of Minecraft gameplay, including monetized ones. Read the guidelines for the current rules.
Does it work for Minecraft with no commentary?
Yes. With Gaming chosen, clips are picked from sound and the screen too. Commentary still helps it find the moments with a story.
Is ClipFlame made by Mojang or Microsoft?
No. ClipFlame is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
