Instagram line break generator

Why Instagram removes your line breaks
Instagram drops a line break when the line before it ends in a space, and it collapses empty lines in some versions of the app. You type a caption with neat paragraphs, post it, and get one block of text.
The fix is to make each empty line not empty. The generator puts a Braille blank (U+2800) on every blank line. It looks like nothing, but to Instagram it's a character, so the line stays.
How to use it
- Write or paste your caption in the left box, with blank lines where you want gaps.
- Press Copy caption.
- Paste it into the caption field in Instagram and post.
It also works for TikTok captions, Facebook posts and LinkedIn posts, which treat blank lines the same way.
Tips for readable captions
- Lead with one short line. Only the first line or two show before "…more".
- One idea per paragraph, two or three lines each.
- Hashtags at the end, after a gap. Instagram allows up to 5 per post now.
- Check the length. Captions can be up to 2,200 characters. The character counter shows how much room is left.
